Ducks Unlimited Hits 15 Million Acre Milestone

Incorporated on January 27th, 1937, Ducks Unlimited began as a small group of conservationists set on protecting waterfowl and their habitat. They set out to work with government, private/public organizations and citizens to restore and manage the habitat necessary to maintain and grow waterfowl populations. Ducks Unlimited raises money through sponsors, advertisements, grants, donations, gifts and members who want to aid in the restoration programs they research and complete. Their philosophy and execution have been stellar, inspiring more people to aid in the cause every year over their 84 year tenure.
Despite a rocky 2020, DU's annual report shows that their conservation efforts are still going strong with $230 million of revenue and a conservation impact on 606,745 acres of wetland habitat.
